muddleftpd software package provides A flexible and efficient FTP daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install muddleftpd
muddleftpd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the muddleftpd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep muddleftpd *
You will get with muddleftpd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
